Eastside Van and Storage is one of the oldest moving companies in the Northwest. The company was founded in 1901, and has been family owned and operated, under the direction of Vern Tufford. Eastside acquired its ICC permit in 1934 and has full household goods and electronics authority in Oregon and Washington. As an agent for Mayflower Transit we have authority to service all 48 continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and all foreign countries. We have been located at our present location on 48th and S.E. Powell Blvd. since 1967. Many of our present employees have been with us since that move. The longevity and low turnover of our employees is something we are proud to boast about.
In response to a growing West Portland clientele, we then opened Westside Moving and Storage in 1980. Both offices are agents for Mayflower along with serving the local needs of their respective areas.
