| | I had the task of organizing a local NJ move from Florida. I called 5 local NJ movers to arrange for written estimates. Only two were on time, one being Velocity's rep- Guy. Of the 5 written estimates we got only 2 were competitive so we chose Velocity. Guy was very professional, I'm not sure what the other reviewers experienced but the written estimate was what we ended up paying, there weren't any add on charges, we were very up front with what we needed and communicated such needs from day one. The packers showed up promptly on a Sunday morning, the movers showed up promptly on Monday morning to move us. NOTHING was broken, everything was packed and unpacked and assembled without any issues. Guy organized every last detail with me over the phone and communicated to me the progress on moving day. My NJ client was very satisfied and had NOTHING negative to say about the experience. I would recommend them to anyone because my experience was exactly what it should have been. I think it's very important to ask alot of questions and communicate your expectations to your contact, I did just that and left nothing to question. they were very accommodating. I am also very picky about my collectibles and they
were extremely careful...Top notch customer service and professionalism. Always
accommodating, hard workers, go the extra mile to help, and always with a smile.

The moving company even did the little extras with great pride. I recommend Velocity Moving & Storage for every type of move, especially if you need to move fine glass items, tables, mirrors, and other fragile items. |

These movers were so great to work with! They made me feel comfortable and gave me great packing and storage advice before and during my move. Everything arrived at my new home in Georgia without a scrape on it! Service like theirs is a rare find and I am so thankful that I decided to work with them. I had to change my move date two times because of a glitch with the schedule of the building, but the moving staff was helpful and patient with me. The employees were very kind and professional over the phone, and the movers were incredible. They moved me from Astoria to Manhattan in under three hours. | | We were looking for a local moving company for a challenging, short notice move. Five-bedroom house, we'd been there 20+ years. I have used commercial movers in the past and the results have been mixed. These folks were great. Very good estimate and the actual price ended up lower, because the movers were more efficient than expected. It should be noted that the moving staff were all company employees, not temps. During this two-day move the movers were friendly and quick, even when we threw them a few last minute curves. The estimator had planned well. Moving foreman was excellent! As a logistics professional myself with some 30 years experience, I would strongly recommend this company to anyone. Moving ones home is a very personal experience. These folks exceeded expectations, met all commitments, and were a pleasure to work with. |

| | I had a local move within the City of New York. They came and moved me from the fourth floor (stairs only - no elevator). They showed up on time, were pleasant, and actually moved weights (i.e, pumping iron weights) without complaint. Didn't charge a dime extra more then the quote! I would use them again, and recommend them when someone says they're moving. |

| | I've moved several times in the past five years and this was the best experience by far! There are some very shady movers out there but I have to say this was an incredibly positive experience. From the first phone call, to the email follow-up and, in particular, on the day of the move Velocity Moving exceeded expectations. The crew called ahead, showed up on time, was pleasant and professional and executed my move from my storage unit, to my old house and then on to my new house all within 4 hours 15 minutes! This included moving upstairs and putting furniture together. I would use them again and recommend them. |
