Subject: TERRIBLE COMPANY- SCAM ARTISTS

This company scammed me out of thousands of dollars. They were unprofessional, would not return my phone calls, and would not refund my money or help me when the majority of my things showed up missing and destroyed. Cathy was my contact person and she acted so sweet and trustworthy until she had my money....then she wouldn't return my calls and dropped me completely. They subcontracted my move to another scam artist company that took weeks to deliver my things and damaged and/or lost 90% of my belongings. There are millions of other movers out there. Do your research and don't get screwed over like I did. I wish I would have listened to these internet reviews before I hired an UNLICENSED company. They also go by alliance movers, USA movers, amovingservices.com, usamovingservices.com, bulldog movers..... SHADY stuff. Be careful.

Subject: Horrible Moving Company

USA Moving Services provided unprofessional customer service after I submitted a complaint regarding a carrier they contracted to complete my move. They refused to answer phone calls, return voicemails, or emails. They allowed the carrier to make demands on me that were in breach of their contract and hold my property hostage. They failed to respond to complaints I submitted to the Better Business Bureau. They might possibly also operate as the following companies:

Americas Moving Services
Relocation and Storage, Inc.
South American Van Lines
United World Van Lines

They also have several different addresses on record. Do NOT USE this company. As of today, I still do not have my property and cannot contact anyone.

Subject: Mover did not showed up at the moving days

USA Moving Service is the worst moving company I have ever met. They got my credit card and assigned me a two days moving window. They told me to wait for contact one day before the moving. But they never called me. During the 2 moving days, I called their Customer Service 20 times, only got through twice. The customer service lady told me she would call me back after talking to the driver. But she did not call me back at all and never picked up the phone when I called her. I wonder if this is an honest company, or they just want to get my pre-payment. So far no one contact me to explain what had happened. I am going to file a criminal report against this company if they do not refund my deposit and compensate all my loss due to the late move-out.

Subject: USA Moving Service

We contracted with them to move our daughter. Once they took our deposit, we didn't hear anything else about our move. We tried numerous times on numerous days to reach them via phone and email without success. We have had to file a complaint with the BBB.

Subject: No Show

We contracted USA Moving Services LLC months in advance. However, when they did not call or arrive the day of move, we called them and were informed that, sorry, our truck had been "re-routed" and we would do best to look for an alternative as they didn't know if or when a replacement would be available. We had to make emergency arrangements the day of the move and move ourselves. They agreed to refund our initial deposit, but this has not happened and no one returns our calls from their "accounting" department.

Subject: move from MN to AL

I had a bad experience with the company USA moving services assigned us to. I was told I would get a 24 hours notice until I paid my deposit, then I was told I would get a 12 hours notice. On the day of the "move" I had to call because I did not get a call from the movers. I was then told they would arrive the next day late in the evening. I asked for a better description as in 6 pm or 11:59pm . Because I live in a high-rise apartment building, an 11:00pm move would not be acceptable. The driver of the truck would not give me a best and worst case scenario for arrival time, only that he was in Lincoln NE which meant nothing to me. He said he would not give me an ETA because he did not want me to be mad at him. The movers did a quick and efficient job I have to say, but if you cannot spend 48 hours in limbo waiting on movers this is not a good choice. I would never recommend USA moving services.

Subject: Move From Hell

Earlier this year we underwent a move from MS to PA arranged by USA Moving Services, Columbia, SC with BGM Moving & Storage of Decatur, GA acting as their selected carrier. Problems included delayed delivery, additionally unjustified charges, attempts to secure my credit card number to pay for driver hotel and meals, and substantially damaged household goods. Numerous attempts to resolve the damage claim using USA's claims representative have failed to date.

USA refuses to honor their contractual obligation to act in our behalf to resolve the delayed claim with the carrier. They think that mailing the claim onto BGM is their only responsibility and she refuses to meet our request to provide the name, etc. of the BGM representative to whom she supposedly forwarded our claim on March 15. USA has shown total disregard for our problem and has repeatedly failed to honor commitments to return phone calls, letters, and emails. As this continues, I am taking the matter through multi-channels to secure claim payment and to report the misconduct of both firms to government representatives, industry associations, and prospective transport clients.

Subject: Never even showed up

This moving company didn't call me to confirm the move 3 days before hand. I was supposed to move on a weekend and couldn't get a hold of anyone. They had a 2 day window to move me and never even showed up! I waited the full two days. They really left me in a lurch. I had to rent a truck at the last minute and move myself. Talk about stress!

I prepaid $1000 to schedule the move. Isn't this sort of thing illegal? We'll see if I get my money back

Subject: Good Move

This company was the best that I've ever had to deal with. They moved all my furniture with care into the truck and then back out into our new house. To tell you the truth I was really worried that they would ruin our newly restored Grand Piano which cost alot of money to restore. They ended up wrapping it in blankets so that it wouldn't get scratched and thank god they did. I just want to thank this company for doing a great job and keep up the good work.

Subject: USA moving services

They picked up my son's furniture last Monday, the truck then had a broken spring, the driver was unable to drive it until it was repaired. The driver then quit and FLEW HOME to Washington State. Today is day 8 and no one is answering any phones at USA moving.

Terms and Conditions:

Customer has hired USA Moving Services, LLC as a moving coordinator/shipper agent and not to handle or otherwise participate in a move. In acting as a shipper agent only, USA Moving Services, LLC is not responsible for any acts or omissions of the Carrier or its employees or agents. Customer must pursue the Carrier for all claims for property damage and personal injury or death, including without limitation, any claims for damage to property, lost or stolen goods, delayed pickup or delivery, actions of estimators, drivers, packers or movers, or other types of claims.

The Carrier has 30 days for delivery as regulated by the Department of Transportation. USA Moving Services, LLC will act on the behalf of the customer in resolving any claims or delay issues with the carrier. The carrier's maximum liability is limited to the lesser of the following: (a) the amount of the actual loss or damage, (b) an amount equal to sixty cents (60¢) per pound multiplied by the actual weight (in pounds) of the lost or damaged article; or (c) the lump sum declared value. Customer will be subject to all applicable laws and the general terms and conditions of the Carrier, which shall include, without limitation, a requirement that Customer may not receive possession of its goods until all charges are paid in full.

Customer acknowledges that the cost of the move contained in this agreement is an estimate only, and that USA Moving Services, LLC shall determine the actual cost after the truck has been weighed. Customer agrees to pay the Carrier the total charges for moving services agreed for herein.

Customer understands that the deposit(s)/fee(s) represent only a portion of the total estimated moving charges, and that the deposit(s)/fee(s) are only refundable if, at least 7 business days (Sunday not included) prior to the pack or load date (whichever applies) listed on the estimate/order for service, USA Moving Services, LLC (1) receives written notice by email to their sales representative AND to customerservice@usamovingservices.com, and (2) notification by phone at xxx.xxx.xxxx of Customer's intent to cancel this agreement. All credit card refunds will be processed for your next billing statement. I am aware that any failure to comply with this cancellation and refund policy shall result in the forfeiture of the deposit(s)/fee(s) paid. If the customer requests a change of their contracted move date, and then cancels their move, the customer forfeits their right to a refund.

Customer provides USA Moving Services, LLC with an accurate description of the items to be moved and the services to be performed. Customer has requested to have a pre-estimate provided for his/her household goods relocation, and waives his/her right to a visual and home estimate. If any additional pieces, packing services, weight or labor services are added at the origin or destination to those quoted, the Customer shall be charged for these services at USA Moving Services, LLC rates. If Customer's items, weight or services are less than the estimated amount, then Customer shall pay for the actual costs associated with these items rather than the estimate. Customer understands that USA Moving Services, LLC has a 2,000 lbs minimum on all shipments. Any shipment below 2,000 lbs. will be charged at the 2,000 lbs. rate.

The price includes all fuel surcharges, tolls, load and unload, basic disassembly and reassembly of standard furniture items. Elaborate furniture items that need to be disassembled and/or reassembled may require 3rd party servicing or additional labor and should be disclosed to your estimator and included in your estimate. Disconnect and/or reconnect of appliances is not included in the price. The packing and unpacking of boxes is only included in the price if it is itemized in the "Packing and Unpacking" section of your estimate.

The provisions of this agreement, including the terms and conditions, contained herein, represents the entire understanding and agreement between USA Moving Services, LLC and Customer with respect to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes all other negotiations, understandings and representations (if any) made by and between such parties, including any representations made by any estimator. In the event of any conflict between the terms of any estimate and the bill of lading, the terms of the bill of lading shall control. This agreement may not be amended, supplemented or waived orally, but only in writing, signed by both USA Moving Services, LLC and Customer and making specific reference to this agreement. Customer may not assign its rights or obligations under this agreement without the prior written consent of USA Moving Services, LLC.

All of the terms and provisions of this Agreement, whether so expressed or not, shall be binding upon, inure to the benefit of, and be enforceable by the parties and their respective administrators, executors, legal representatives, heirs, successors and permitted assigns. Customer shall indemnify and hold harmless USA Moving Services, LLC and its shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents and affiliates from and against any and all actions, claims, suits, liabilities, proceedings, penalties, fines, costs and expenses (including all reasonable attorneys' fees) relating directly or indirectly from any breach of this Agreement by Customer. Nothing in this agreement, whether expressed or implied, is intended to confer any rights or remedies on any person other than the parties hereto and their respective legal representatives, heirs and permitted assigns, nor is anything in this agreement intended to relieve or discharge the obligation or liability of any third person to any party to this agreement, nor shall any provision give any third person any right of subrogation or action over or against any party to this agreement.

This contract shall be governed by the internal laws of the State of South Carolina without regard to principles of conflicts of law. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be brought in the courts of record of the State of South Carolina in Lexington County or the Court of the United States, South Carolina in Lexington County. If any party does not have a registered agent to accept service of process in South Carolina, then such party agrees to accept service of process by U.S. Mail. In the event of any controversy arising under or relating to the interpretation or implementation of this agreement or any breach thereof, USA Moving Services, LLC shall be entitled to recover all of its court costs, collection fees, expenses and reasonable attorney's fees (including, without limitation, all pre-trial, trial and appellate proceedings), in addition to any other relief to which it may be entitled.
