“How will I be charge for my move?”
The price of your move is based on the weight of your shipment which means that at the end of the move you will pay only for the actual weight of your shipment.
Before the driver will arrive to your location he will weigh the truck in a certify scale, when he will come to your location he will rap all your furniture with a protecting blankets(we don’t charge for the blanket or for the tapes), he will label every item that goes on the truck with a labeled color-coded stickers assigned to you, once he finish loading the truck he will go back to the certify scale and he will weight the truck again, and that’s how we will gat the actual weight of your shipment.
“How can I know how much it’ll cost up-front?”
We at Swift Van Lines have some options for you:
• You can call our sales department and gat a general estimate from one sale representative.
• You can go directly to our estimate link and gat a general estimate on-line.
• Or you can call in and make an appointment for a free visual estimate; one of our professional estimators will come to your home and give you a much accurate estimate for your move.
“What if something change before the move?”
If something changes before the move, if you decided to sell or give away some furniture or if you decided to add some items, let us now and we can re estimate the weight.
“What about packing material?”
Long distance moves require a different packing then a local moves, you need to ask yourself if you want to pack everything by yourself or you want us to pack it for you.
Complete packing and crating services are available and full replacement coverage can be provided.

Storage
Our storage facilities are clean, well lighted and monitored 24 hours a day. Our warehouse is fully insured . If you want your goods held in our warehouse you must specially request storage services. Your foreman will prepare a detailed inventory list and your items be labeled with color-coded stickers assigned to you.
