The company is owned and operated by father and son Dave and Nick Franta. Both of us are born and raised in the metro area.
We have been in business since 1996.
We are located in Edina, Minnesota and Hudson, Wisconsin, both with indoor storage facilities.

Moving

We offer full-service moving from single items to complete households or businesses, working with homeowners, renters, businesses, industrial clients, and builders, among others. Our trained movers service the Twin Cities metro and Hudson, Wisconsin areas, as well as the entire states of Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Quality Transfer & Storage strives to be on time with each and every move. No matter if we're moving industrial equipment or an antique hutch, we treat each client's possessions with the same detailed level of care. We always take protective measure to ensure that all goods remain in the same condition we found them, and we ensure that walls, flooring, and other areas in the home or office do not become damaged. Our protective steps include using furniture blankets, cardboard padding, as well as shrink wrapping when necessary. We'll also use runners or take our shoes off in a client's home and use custom covers for door jambs.
Packing
Quality Transfer & Storage offers professional packing services by trained packing specialists. No job is too small or too large: We can pack everything from a small apartment to a multi-floor household. We will bring all of the necessary supplies to pack your home. In addition, we offer specialty crating for long-distance moves or shipping.

Storage
Our indoor, climate controlled storage facilities are located in Edina, MN and Hudson, WI. Both locations offer "vault" style storage. Our durable storage vaults are brought to your home on a moving truck. We load the container, seal it, and then return it to one of our clean, accessible and secure facilities. By using this process, you save time, energy and money. You can also bring your items to us and we will place them into storage for you.
Packing Supplies
Quality Transfer sells both new and used packing and moving supplies. From boxes to packing paper, tape to pads, wardrobes to bubble wrap, we have it all.
