"Where Your Satisfaction Is Priority One."
The Process
The initial step in the auto shipping process is obtaining a quote. The customer,
otherwise known as the shipper, can receive an estimate through our automated
quote system or by calling us. When making your
selections during this process, be sure to be as accurate as possible. Inaccurate
or false information may lead to delays. The quote will automatically be emailed
to your designated address.
You can either book your transport online or you can call our customer service
department to make arrangements. At this point, a refundable
deposit will be required to initiate the process. We accept credit cards and
certified payments. After all the information has been collected, you will
receive a confirmation email with details on how to prepare the vehicle to
be shipped.
Once Priority One Auto Shipping has assigned a carrier, the customer or designated
contact person will receive a call from the carrier approximately 6 to 24 hours
prior to their estimated pick-up time. Please be sure the vehicle is prepped
and ready to be moved.
During the pick-up of your automobile the driver will complete a detailed
vehicle condition report, also known as a bill of lading. You or your designated
representative must sign this vehicle condition report, acknowledging the condition
of the vehicle prior to transport. The driver will give you a copy for your
records. If there is still a balance on your account please have the certified
funds or cash available before the driver reaches the drop-off destination.
Typically, this balance is paid to the driver for their services.
Again, the transporter will contact you or your designated representative
6 to 24 hours prior to delivery. When the vehicle arrives, inspect it thoroughly
and compare its condition to the notes on the original vehicle condition report.
If there are inconsistencies, note them as new and be sure the driver signs
it. Without being reviewed and signed by the driver, you will have little recourse
if damage occurs during transit. More detailed information will follow once
your order has been placed.
