One Move

My brother recently hired this moving company (Partner Vanlines) to handle his girlfriend's move while she was away on vacation, which could have been extremely risky as she wasn't there to oversee things and my brother isn't so responsible, but putting the entire move in Partner' s hands was the best decision ever. They moved everything carefully and with no glitches so that when his girlfriend returned she walked into a finished situation rather than a nightmare. Now that they're married, she told me they're definitely using them again to move into their new home. Partner Vanlines not only protects your furniture, it protects relationships!

Everything was 100% satisfying and the movers are great! This guys are- excellent, hardworking, polite and patient too! Overall an excellent move. I definitely recommend! Partner Van Lines moved my entire 3 bedroom house from Santa Clara to Mountain View and I have to say they were amazing. They were at the time the cheapest company I could find. I live in Atherton and have used Partner Van Lines on different occasions to move or deliver various items for me for the past four years. Such as my 4 bedroom house, antiques, sofas, dining room suites, bedroom suites, garage items etc. I am 68 years young, and I know good people when I meet them. The people at Partner Van Lines know how to move household goods. They are polite, with a confident 'no bull' attitude. If you live in the area & want to hire some 'mamby pamby' moving company, go ahead. I, on the other hand, will continue to hire Partner Van Lines and will continue to refer them. My company used Partner Van Lines for the office move from San Mateo to San Francisco. They worked quickly and efficiently and they helped us out quite a bit when it came to rates and bins for our things. I also used them for a personal move and they were just as good then, if not better. They worked hard and did an excellent job. I know that not every job goes well, but if you cover yourself and make sure you know exactly what's going to go on up front, then you have no problem at all. The guys were very hard working and contentious with the fragile items and keeping the house clean. I will start by saying my last move was a disaster... it was very important for me to find a company that will take care of me and my belongings in the most professional way. After a long search, speaking to many companies I finally decided to use Partner Van Lines.

Actually, I was hoping that they'd do a dismally poor job so that I could slam them on movingscam.com and then sue them (I'm a class action atty).

Much to my surprise, they exceeded my expectations! My prized possession (a massive legal library and a personal fine art) was moved from California to Ohio without a hitch, as promised, on time and under the estimated moving cost. I heartily recommend this company to skeptics, anal retentive lawyers or divines!

Partner Moving and Storage was a great moving company to do business with. Partner Moving and Storage were very professional about our move and made sure everything went as quick and efficient as possible. All my furniture was well taken care of and the movers even wrapped them in moving blankets to protect them from getting damaged. I was very surprised by the professionalism the movers had with our local move. Our relocation in simple words could not have gone better and I would like to thank Partner Moving and Storage for a great move.

Partner Moving and Storage really amazed me. When I found out I was about to move and was going to have to use a moving company lets just say I wasn’t happiest and I really did not trust moving companies to do a good job. Partner Moving and Storage knew what they were they were doing and it was obvious from when I first met them and they sprang into action. I was sent three gentlemen to move me from Los Angeles, CA to San Diego, CA. They arrived carrying a piece of blank paper that turned into my inventory list. I tried to pack everything or as much as I could into boxes so most of the list consisted of box numbers but at the same time there was still a lot to do. All the furniture was wrapped in shrink wrap and blankets, depending on the piece of furniture. Before the started loading the furniture and boxes they actually put down blankets on the floor so the furniture wouldn’t get dirty just in case there was any kind of dirt in the truck (which I highly doubt because it was spotless). Everything was loaded without a problem except for the kitchen table which had to dismantle in order to fit through the door but it worked out and they were extremely gentle with everything.

Once we got to my new location Partner moving and Storage proceeded to amaze me once again by not only unloading everything without a single damage but they also put all the boxes in their appropriate room and the furniture was put where I wanted. The movers also unloaded most of the boxes and did a great job at that to. I was simply dumbfounded by the whole process and the Partner Moving and Storage itself. I highly recommend this company if you want a smooth and stress free move where the employees actually care about their customers. Everyone that I know could not believe how fast and affordable Partner Moving was. On Saturday, May 12th, 2007, Partner Van lines moved all of our furniture from San Jose to Castroville (1 hour away) in 5 1/2 hours for around $500 dollars. Other movers (and I carefully researched and consulted with 5 other moving companies) gave me quotes for 8 hours and over $700. The Partner Moving movers handled all of our belongings with extreme care, and the foreman was very courteous and friendly.

Also, no matter what happened on the day of the move, Partner Moving guaranteed that the total cost for my move would not exceed more than 10% above their initial non-binding estimate. They not only honored their promise, but the total cost of the move was less than their initial quote. They also offered an additional 5% off if I paid in cash. Basic Moving Services

• Loading – Each of your belongings are labeled, inventoried, and loaded using a systematic process. Additionally, all upholstered furniture is wrapped in Stretch wrap, a strong, clear plastic that completely covers the furniture, protecting it from dirt and damage
• Transportation – All of our trucks are equipped with air ride suspension systems to ensure your belongings travel in the safest manner possible. All trucks are driven by professionals who possess the best training in the industry
• Unloading – Upon arrival, all items are inventoried as they are unloaded. When unloading, furniture, boxes, and other belongings are placed in the rooms you designate. Assembly of beds, bookcases and other furniture is available upon request. Additionally, we protect your new home by using several types of floor runners to prevent stains or scratches on carpet and wood flooring

Additional Moving Services Available by Partner Van Lines

• Unpacking – Boxes are opened and contents are removed and placed on a flat surface. If desired, Partner will provide any further placement needs. Boxes and packing material removal is included within this optional service
• Crating – High-value items such as artwork, electronic equipment, or delicate collectibles may need some added attention. Consider custom crating to protect fragile or non-standard sized belongings
• Cars/Boats – Transporting larger items such as cars and boats can be included in your move. Depending on size, the items will be protected and placed in the truck with the rest of your belongings…or on another vehicle if necessary

• Assembly/Disassembly – We can help with disassembly of furniture, swing sets, etc., prior to your move or re-assembly upon arrival at your new home

• Third Party Services – Upon request, third party services such as appliance connect/disconnect, pool or hot tub disassembly/assembly, and cleaning services can be arranged for you
• Storage – Storage-in-transit is available for your belongs for up to 90 days. After 90 days, goods are transferred to permanent storage. Storage is a good option if you are not yet able to move into your new home for any reason.
