We are a full-service moving and storage company. Our services are available
to you 24 hours a day 7 days week. Our offices are in major cities across the
country and are staffed by knowledgeable, well trained professionals. Our moving
equipment and communications systems are state of the art. But, a company is

Moving can be one of the most stressful events in our lives. However, by getting
organized and planning ahead, you can prepare your family for a smooth move.
Local move
A local move is generally a move within a 200 mile radius of our office and
is intra-state. The charge for a local move is always based on an hourly rate.
The hourly rate only covers the time of the actual move plus travel time to
and from the job and the warehouse. If needed, packing materials are extra.
Long distance move
A long distance move is generally an inter-state move. The charge for a long
distance move is determined by weight or cubic feet. If there is a need for
packing materials, there will be an additional charge. We have trucks leaving
New York daily for Florida and Chicago with all points in between. Our trucks
leave once a week for Texas and once a week for California.
Commercial move
Moving Zone has a separate division that handles corporate and commercial
moves. We recognize how important it is that there be as little "down-time" to
your business as possible. Time is money. To this end we pre-plan your move
to avoid disruption. Where possible we arrange these moves for after business
hours or on weekends. We have highly trained personnel who have had extensive
experience in moving computers and other electronic equipment. We carry sufficient
liability insurance as required by most commercial buildings.
Executive move
Moving Zone specializes in the field of relocating executive personnel. We
recognize how important it is for your employees to be as worry free as possible
during their relocation process. Although your employee is excited about the
new opportunities and challenges that await him/her, at the same time he/she
is apprehensive about leaving friends, family and familiar surroundings and
moving to an unknown location.
In many cases the move involves not just the relocation of your executive,
but also the dislocation of a mate, and possibly children as well. It is a
stressful time for all concerned.
The degree of difficulty involved in the relocation will have a direct impact
on the job performance of your employee. It is our mandate to make the transition
as easy and smooth as possible.
We have many years experience in relocating corporate executives all over
the country. We will assign one of our specialists to work with your executive
and his/her family to carefully plan all aspects of the upcoming move. We believe
that the better planned the move is, the easier it is for all concerned.
Several weeks prior to the move the relocation specialist assigned to your
executive will meet with him/her and outline the things that must be done in
anticipation of the move.
