Movers were hours late outside of the range given for expected arrival.
Additional "packaging" fees incurred without notification. For example wrapping items that were already wrapped in order to charge additional fees. Fee charged for packaging mirror that was found broken in a closet at the old home without notification. Roommate at old home missing laptop after movers left. Bad overall situation. Please go in person and verify that any company you choose is professional website may seem great but you could end up with dishonest amateurs.

I recently moved and found the experience pretty straightforward. The website helped me find a mover that fit my budget and time frame. Movers Atlanta was my choice. They did a good job, but follow up with them (damages during the move) has been unacceptable and I still haven't been reimbursed for the damages two months after the move.

I live in Atlanta, Georgia but I had to move to the other side of Atlanta for a new job. I had a bunch of things I needed to be moved but several of them required careful and precise moving: A baby grand piano, an antique grandfather clock, and 3 antique vases. I was very very very nervous when I realized I would need to hire a moving company because I've heard so many bad things about them. But I had no choice.

I found Movers Etc. on 123 Movers and they seemed to be ok from the research I did. So I hired them and hoped for the best. Let me tell you, everything went great. They first showed up at my house (10 minutes early) and they began loading my stuff up onto their truck. With my fragile items, I requested on the phone that the movers pack them. I watched them pack those things and they did a great job. They had this really great bubble wrap and blankets that they used as cushioning. They carefully loaded those things on the truck, secured them, and drove away. When they brought my things to my new house, everything was in great condition. Nothing was broken and nothing was missing
