Subject: Horrible moving experience
| | This was one of the most horrific moving experiences of my life. This company
is not based on honesty and integrity. They quoted me a price of $2,750.00
to move from Texas to Florida and when it was all sad and done, I paid almost
$4,000.00. On top of that it took almost 2month for me to get my furniture.
I finally had to get the BBB involved as well as calls threaten to call the
sheriff’s
department to get my things. This is fly-by-night, very unprofessional moving
company and I use that term very loosely.

Line of Gold is the worst mover that I have ever dealt with and I have moved
several times since Hurricane Katrina. They overcharged me on the morning of
the move, brought the wrong size truck for the move, and damaged my refrigerator
where it is no longer useful.
One of the owners has been promising me that he will take care of this overage
and the damage to my refrigerator for the last 3 weeks. He has done nothing
but make promises. I am reporting them to the states of Florida and Louisiana
and I will not be satisfied until either I get my money back or they lose their
license. They demanded cash money before the move and sent drivers down here
without a log book or enough money for fuel.
I would not use these movers under any circumstances as they are dishonest
movers.

Subject: TERRIBLE - NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED
| | Don't use this company. I booked with them, THEN STILL 2 more people called to try to get me to book with them. Then I had to call about 6 times to get a confirmation.
THEN THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP - AND THEY DIDN'T CALL!!!!! I called them and they said the driver wasn't working that day and they never called me back and didn't send someone over to help - I offered to work with just ONE guy to help us. NOTHING.
