Pricing:
When moving locally, there should be three universal charges: Hourly
charges, are applied from the beginning of service (starting time) until the
completion of service (ending time) Travel time, is a charge based on either
a flat fee in certain areas, or mileage. Accessorial charges include packing
materials, packing, over night holding etc. These charges, if applicable to
the shipper, the charges will be added.
Coverage:
With regard to coverage, there are two types of coverage: The first is the
basic, free, coverage that is based on the weight of the shipment or article.
The second, which is available at an additional cost, is depreciated valuation
coverage. This coverage is based on the lump sum value a shipper is declaring
