| | Do not ever use this rip off, lousy, lying service!!!! Once they get your items packed and loaded they'' take it to get weighed and charge you hundreds more than what was quoted. If you pay up front and you ever have a problem with your move, and you will, you'll never get someone on the other line to help. The best answer you'll get is "I’ll call you back" I’m not going to get into all of it now, it's not worth it. People, stay away from this company!!! if you don't listen now, than it's your fault!!!!! | Company Response | | | Posted by: Rebecca Berry - 12/02/2008 Subject: DON'T USE FOCUS VAN LINES!!!

| | Bottom line, they are dishonest and careless with their customer's things and on top of it all, they don't care! They lied to me about several things from the cost of my move to being members of the Am. Moving Assoc. Several expensive items were damaged and our entire DVD collection and other electronic items were never delivered and they offered me $150 settlement, PLEASE! They received multiple citations based on complaints that I filed with the TX A.G. DON'T USE THEM! | Company Response | | | Posted by: Doug - 05/26/2007 Subject: My moving experience
| | We moved from Dallas Texas to another state and only 1/2 of everything we own showed up and yet they wanted double the price. The 1/2 that showed up was mostly damaged. | Company Response | | | Posted by: Brian - 01/31/2007 Subject: Focus Van Lines - Membership Revoked
| | Dallas, TX, September 14, 2006 - Moving day is stressful, but it's even worse
when the move doesn't go well. Customers of one Dallas moving company, Focus
Van Lines, 1331 Regal Row, #200, Dallas, have been complaining about moving
day woes to the Better Business Bureau serving Dallas and Northeast Texas.
Complaints allege that movers showed up late, that household goods were damaged
or lost, and that final charges were much more than expected. In some cases,
complaints say, the movers demanded payment in cash before releasing their
belongings.
Focus Van Lines has an unsatisfactory record with the BBB in Dallas due to
unanswered complaints. During the Bureau's three-year reporting period, the
company has been the subject of 46 complaints. Of those complaints, 23 remain
unanswered by the company.
The company's membership with the Better Business Bureau in Dallas was revoked
on October 17, 2005, due to unanswered complaints.
