Everything was picked up on the day promised and delivered to FL promptly. Excellent service and everything arrived in great condition. Not sure why there are some negative reviews. | | Moving is stressful, and it will be at least 100 time more stress if you use federal moving system. They don’t communicate at all (try you self to contact all the number they gave you), there number keep disconnecting periodically. They did not contact me until one day pass my moving day, I was trying to speak with some one for more than 48 hours before moving without success. Finally call me back after I sent multiple emails acknowledging I want to take legal actions. At that point they refuse to return my deposited 480$. They didn’t wrap my items (they paid for full service). Almost all my items damaged between minor to moderate damage. I called the company regarding the damage and for sure no luck. I used different and even cheaper moving company in the past and no company disrespect customer likes Federal Moving system they are SCAM. Also I gave them initially detailed items list and they told me 5000 pounds is more than out I need, so you get illusion about good price and (I ve been told) the final weight 8000, so you will pay extra by each pound. So you think you have good deal initially but you will end paying more. The Bad: • Stressful. • No communication after they receive the deposit. • Dishonest and liars. • Overpriced. • Damaged my stuff. • They did not wrap my stuff as they promised and paid for. • They will not return the deposit. • Still no communication after moving. • Sebastian The Good: • None. | | Like the comment below me. Four different times set to pick up. We were told we would be the only customers on the truck. Upon arrival 1/4 of the truck was full. Causing them to Leave behind over $5,000 worth of my items. For they would not fit on their truck. They Insisted on being paid in cash prior to unloading the truck. Even though contract states I could pay with credit card etc. Moving out of state does not make for easy access to get your hands on that much cash. Called online # for days and got no return phone calls. I also dealt with a Chris Mischkowski to arrange the move. He was sweet as pie. Telling me how they are so much better than all the other moving companies. Once deposit was paid he was no longer available to speak to me. Deposit was told it was not going to be charged to my card it was to hold the availability. They charged that $500. hold fee to my debit card. Many items arrived broken. Moving is very stressful....but they made this move a complete nightmare. I will be filing an official complaint as you all should do. Here is a site to do so Safersys.org. I will also be contacting an attorney to fight this out in court. Don't trust them bringing you to the better Business Bureau reports. Movers are not reported there. They are reported to the web address I gave you above. Shady... # is not even available to call any longer and it has only been two weeks. Awful experience....having all your belongings being held hostage by the movers of this company. |

Never did show up, sent an email to cancel me. Would not return phone calls when trying to get my deposit back...had different persons "In Charge" that had different stories and different lies. I arrived in my destination city...they CANCELLED me at the last minute...leaving all my belongings 900 miles away and no one tyo move them for me!! RIP OFF/SCAM ARTISTS!!! |

| | I contracted these guys not knowing what to expect because we were used to dealing with different movers. This year the way the economy is I had to select a more cost friendly mover. I was a little apprehensive but didnt have much choice. After careful review I selected Federal Moving and the entire experience was a breath of fresh air. The truck arrived on time. the company called me the day before and let me know that they would be arriving on time.My sales representative answered all of my questions and always got right back to me as soon as I called. And trust me, I called alot. I would estimate that from the time I put down a deposit I had to call at least twenty different times to get him to answer several questions that arose as we got closer to the move date. I knew he had to be tired of me. But like I was saying, the move date arrived and the guys, John and Ryan were fantastic.They wrapped everything and stacked it in the truck with care. After they were done I even tipped them and we were off to the destination. The delivery took about 3 days and we were right in the window they had promised. When everything arrived, the same driver and helper that picked me up were the same that delivered and that was a relief to me becuase I didnt want my items being transfered from truck to truck. They unloaded and I did get my weight tickets. I had gone over a few hundred dollars but that was fine. There were some things that I had that I forgot to to tell Scott my sales rep. I have now unpacked everything and there were absolutely no damges at all! Thank you guys. I told you if the move didnt go well I would be your worst customer. But it went great and now I want to be your best. Thank you so much. I would recommend doing buisness with Federal Moving Systems anytime. |

| | I scheduled a move with Federal Movingto be picked up on Sept. 29th. Brian was my sales guy. He came out to my home and gave me a very competitive moving quote. I checked their reputation out online and I went with it. The movers arrived at my house on time on the 29th and worked quickly and efficiently. I was surprised that the movers packed and loaded my 4 bedroom home in less than 10 hours. The crew we had was amazing. Miguel and his helpers were very nice and were a pleasure to deal with. On the delivery date they off loaded my furniture and still I have not so far seen any damages. I want thank Federal Moving and if I move again in the near future we will be contacting you. |

| | I moved with Federal Moving Systems, I was estimated at 6500 pound and got a somewhat fair quote with them. It wasn't the cheapest but from going online and checking the other companies I found they had little to no complaints. Now again it wasn't the highest, but it was lower on the average. Now when the driver came, they arrived on the back up date but hey they called me and informed me that this would happen. They came in and moved my furnature and boxes, 4 days later I got a call that they were in the area near my new home in Atlanta, and a hour later they were there. The best thing with this move is that they said "I was under weight" and with the proration I saved $220 dollars. Hey now with all of the horror stories I have read online about people being overcharged, and damaged goods, I must say they didn't do that to me. Loyal Customer, John L. |

with Federal Moving Systems to be picked up on Aug 3 2009.
My family and I were moving from Kentucky to Pennsylvania.
Robert was my point of contact and I went through the inventory
and HE stayed in contact with us throughout the entire process.
The actual driver (Miguel) called me the day before our pick up
date to tell me that they were running a little late but would be at
my home at lunch time on Aug 3. When the movers arrived they worked
very hard to make sure my furniture was protected and safe.
Two days later Miguel and his helpers delivered our furniture.
I have moved serveral times and usually there are damages.
We are still unpacking and and so far we havent seen any damages.
I promised Robert after the move was done and everything went well we
would write a testimonial. So once again I want to thank everyone at
Federal Moving Systems. |

Ohio in September, and I have to say they did an outstanding job.
We were initially contacted via email by Chris, a sales rep at Federal
Moving. After we received an email explaining their services, we called
in to get a more specific quote. Chris was so great. He went over an
inventory list with my wife and I, explained all of the services
that were included and what we could add additionally if we wanted to.
We opted to add full value insurance coverage and packing of our china.
We were so comfortable with everything that Chris told us, that we
went ahead and placed our reservation. Chris assured us that our price
was locked in and would not increase and that we had secured the dates
that we requested for the move. We still had two weeks before the actual
move was to take place. In that two week period, we made a few changes to
our inventory and packing requests and Chris gladly helped. On the day of
pickup, the driver called at 9am to let us know he would be arriving
within the hour. When the crew arrived (three guys total) they were so
nice and helpful. They did a great job packing our china and taking
great care of our furniture as they loaded it onto the moving truck.
The driver said he would be arriving in Ohio two days later and to plan
accordingly. On the delivery end, the crew arrived about thirty minutes
earlier than they had planned (which was great). They placed all of our
furniture where we told them and even unpacked our china for us! Overall,
we were so nervous about moving and we had heard so many horror stories
about a long distance move. This was one of the best reliefs I have ever
felt. I hope that anyone reading this will contact Federal Moving
Systems if you are moving and you will be very pleased. I cannot
thank everyone at Federal moving enough. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! |

| | I orginally spoke with a gentleman name sabastian to make my reservation and pay my deposit of $350 over a month ago. I spoke with sabastian to add inventor remove inventory all the way up until the week of my move.. I was supposidly allset up to move August 7th...which was a friday..i called and spoke with a guy name chris who was a very nice guy promised me the truck would be there and said he would clal me right back within 5 min to let me know exactly what time pick up would be.. i never heard from him again.... I called the number That i had been calling to speak with sabastian and the number was disconnected. I called for days and days no one would call me back including this chris guy.. I called again august 6th 2009 the day before my move and spoke with a guy named tim tim acted as if he didnt even no i was moving. then he proceeded to tell me that the truck was full and they would have to move me the following week.. this WAS THE DAY B 4 MY MOVE...my house was all packed up and ready to go...after calling and calling and calling... i finally end up renting a uhaul and having family help me move at the last minute as i had to get out that house... They didnt have me in the system but they sure did take my deposit... and i NEVER HEARD ANOTHER WORD from this company.. luckily my bank went into there account and gave me my 350 back as i told them i was totally scammed... federal moving systems is a huge scam and they played with me up until the day before i had to leave michigan.. and on top of that never called me again and never returned my call...and i had made reservations a month prior...the rep i was working with magically disappeard and no one else helped me ...please please dont trust this compnay this just happen to me last week..they ruined my move and made things very stressful for me and besides that they stole my deposit and gave me no service..i thought by checking with the better business bureau that they would be okay..but they are scammers... |

| | I have moved up and down the east coast multiple times. After my first move from Miami to Virginia, during which I used movers, I was very disappointed with the whole industry. I therefore moved from Virginia to NY myself with multiple UHaul Trailers. This was a very tiresome and long experience. My most recent move was from NY to Atlanta and I went with Federal Moving Systems. Admittedly, I was sceptical at first, however the entire experience has been very eye opening and positive. Their quote over the phone was only a couple of hundred pounds off (probably due to the fact that I have a ridiculous amount of heavy texts). I dealt directly with John and he was at all time extremely professional, helpful and available. The Pickup (Wednesday): The three man team was late by only a few hours but they made up the time in loading everything carefully and efficiently. The team was courteous and willing to help pack the last few items. The team leader contacted the delivery driver directly in front of me to confirm the date of delivery (Sunday or Monday). En route (Friday): I received a phone call directly from the driver stating that he would be there on Sunday afternoon between 1pm and 2pm. He told me that the balance would have to be paid in terms of credit card. However, I had already discussed using a Cashier's Check with John previously. Again, not a problem. Delivery (Sunday): At noon, the driver contacted me that he was an hour away. All items were delivered carefully and efficiently. I have just finished unpacking and so far I do not see ANY thing damaged. Quite impressive. However, Overall: Extremely professional moving company for a reasonable rate. I will likely be moving again in two years and hope that they are still around. I have already recommended four other people to use their services. Thank you all. Laura |

| We recently moved from New Mexcico to Florida and contracted Federal for the job. I am normally a choosy/picky customer, but I must say that the service offered by Federal was excellent on all fronts:
1) They responded very quickly to my quote request, and were very open about the entire process
2) They scheduled the move according to my constraints, despite the fact that I contacted them only 3 weeks in advance, and the move was done over the Independence Day holiday
3) The move was perfomed very professionally, it took them only 4 days total, we were able to check the status while in transit, everything was delivered in perfect condition
4) From quote to scheduling and billing, everybody at Federal was very professional, prompt and forthcoming.
Federal is my first preference for the next move. I give them perfect grades on all aspects. |

The quote I received was for 4619 lbs for $2146.52. The movers arrived at my home in Atlanta on July 21 2009. The foreman Miguel and his helper David did a great job of wrapping and protecting my furniture. They were very nice guys that made sure my belongings would be safe for the trip. Well now that the dust has cleared and everything is said and done, I wanted to take the time to thank everyone involved with my move. | I negotiated a price for my move with a moving company name Federal Moving
Systems three months prior,
provided a deposit AND signed an agreement. Two weeks out I called to confirm
our move because no one contacted me, and found out I was not even on the books.
I was told don't worry about the deposit, that they would collect everything
at the time of the move. Again, after several calls, I was told we were on the
schedule for Tuesday, July 2nd, before Noon. At 3 PM, I got a call telling me
that we weren't getting picked up that day at all. It was the busiest time of
the year for them, and the guarantee that they will pick up on Thursday morning.
100% I was told. Believe it or not, Thursday did not happen either. NO SHOW.
Several calls back and forth produced no new information. I was sick to my stomach.
I'd planned this move for months. We were moving home for the first time since
Hurricane Katrina. It was a very important time for me and my family, and Federal
Moving ruined what should have been a timely, affordable move. We received a
call from the driver explaining that he would be there first thing Friday morning,
but I told him to forget it. I was not going to give them another chance. They
made a fool out of me twice, and I would not let them do it again. We located
local movers for the NEXT DAY that stepped in and handled the move admirably.
Of course it cost us more as we booked them for Friday, July 3rd. We will be
sending this same report to the BBB in Philadelphia, PA. In all my years in hospitality
customer service, I have never seen anything remotely close to the unprofessional
experience I had with Federal Moving Systems. It was like the Three Stooges was
running the show. |
