Ecuamerican Moving

These people are thieves and liars. They APPEARED responsible when they picked up my things, however, when I called to confirm my delivery date I could not reach anyone at the company for 2 weeks. I had family members call and after they realized the numbers, the screened our calls! Finally, they referred me to their "contractors" who informed me that my things were in a warehouse in Atlanta, GA. When they finally delivered my things (2.5 months later!), they would not unload the truck unless I paid an extra $500. One of the movers appeared heavily intoxicated and on drugs. He dropped numerous boxes and damaged my furniture. I have filed a report with the Federal Government's Department of Transportation. Please, save yourself the trouble and DO NOT HIRE ECUAMERICAN!

This is not a legitimate moving company (Ecuamerican Moving of Garland, TX). After we paid them for our move, they arrived with our furniture one week after the promised delivery date and demanded more money before they would deliver. We called the police and after reviewing the contract and our receipts, the police ordered the driver to deliver our furniture. After the police left, the driver left and we had to call the police again. We've filed a report for stolen property and are still trying to get our furniture back.
