I did shop around and believe me, you guys were the best. I was impressed with you taking the time to explain to me on the phone everything there was to know about moving long distance. No other company would do that. I lived in an apartment on the 3rd floor in a small elevator building. Your crew was on time, courteous and was extremely helpful. They also provided me with some advice and packing material for some items I neglected to pack properly. They arrived in Florida on time. Nothing was damaged. | | So I was moving again, after having thought that Park Slope was to be my 'hood foreva.' We all know Brooklyn is the best borough, and my move to Queens was sweetened by DUMBO Moving and Storage. The salesmen at the office are cordial, as is Kay the one female. She is really nice, going over all the details in an unhurried manner. On two days before the move they confirmed and set my mind at ease. On the day of the move the guys arrived five minutes early and waited till the appointed hour to ring me. The took care of my articles, yet moved fast. The heavier pieces were wrapped soundly, and the glass was put into cardboard crates, very sound-looking. I paid them at arrival to the location, and the gauged their tip by how well they moved it all in. I gave them a 22% tip for a job well done. |

| | We used Dumbo twice to move a 2BR apt, including some packing. They are a lower-priced mover and thus a bit less professional than others in the NYC area. Nice movers; no major damages in either move; however on the 2nd move our laptop computer disappeared. Make sure you make a careful list of the more valuable items; also you need to make sure they send enough people and are aware of your time frame--i.e., they need your oversight. With that, they do a good job at a great price. |

| | After having a moving company had bailed on me, my co-worker referred me to Dumbo Moving. I called and the sale’s representative was the most articulate, understanding person I've ever encountered with. He understood the fact that all my belongings and I must be out of the facility by 4pm that same day! He assured me that I was in good hands, and indeed I was. Dumbo Moving arrived with in the hour and the move was done and over with in the next three hours. It was an excellent flat rate price and I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of a moving company. |

| | I have moved around a lot in the city for the past four years, which means I've used many different movers. When I used Dumbo Moving for the first time three months ago I was astonished by their work. They move so fast yet careful. None of my items were broken, and the price was EXCELLENT!! That is is the BEST price I have EVER paid for a move. I referred my cousin to them and she loves their service as well. They are very well mannered men, respectful and reliable. They basically did everything for me! All I had to do was pack my personal belongings and let them deal with the rest. I sat in the living room drinking tea the entire time watching, GREAT MOVERS. |
