Were to start??? This moving company is 100% authentic cheats! They give quotes that are not followed, they do not arrive on time to pick up the stuff and arrive at odd hours, like at night or on Sundays, so that we do not have any means to call the company office. They never tell you when their drivers will arrive, and give you 1-2 hour notice that they are about to come, and its not the company that calls but the driver!! The drivers employed are rude, demand extra tips, they are not employed by the company- free lance drivers. In fact this Company told us that they will reimburse us to about $120 for our sufferings (broken goods, etc.... that is the maximum they were willing to give). We were ready to get that meager amount, but when we called the company they say they have folded, shut down, and no one answers the phone. They are the biggest cheats I've ever seen!! Am looking for means to sue them.

I moved from Boston to Chicago in August of 2007 and have never hired a moving company before...something I will never do again. The price I was quoted on the phone was not the price I had to pay once the movers arrived. They were very unprofessional and very slow. Upon arriving in Chicago, my movers were 4 DAYS LATE IN COMING TO MY NEW PLACE! This made me take time off of my new job which was very embarrassing. They also lost 4 boxes of clothes, my printer and they broke my computer desk!!! I had scuffs and scratches on almost everything... And the compensation process through their claims department is also as frustrating and upsetting…

3 men $90 an hour, 3 hour minimum $270 total no hidden or extra charges.

Total cost they tried $95 an hour, 4 hour minimum. And an additional $95 for travel time. Which they did not advise me over the phone.

Cross USA was very unprofessional. They change the prices on you once they arrive. They just hang around smoking and chatting and not doing what they are getting paid for. They have attitude problems and have no consideration. They broke my table and do want to take responsibility. I do not recommend this company. It was a nightmare and I was left with my boxes out in the rain.
