College Grads Moving was founded in 1986 by two college graduates who had both gone through negative moving experiences. Upon further research they found that they were not alone; that horror stories abounded, giving legitimacy to the bad reputation that the moving industry had obtained.
Because College Grads Moving, the company, is nothing more than a lengthened shadow of its founders, it follows a philosophy that if one takes care of customers by providing consistent, quality and dependable service, growth will be inevitable.
This is evident by the fact that today over 65% of our bookings are the result of referrals and / or past customers. This is no small part due to our stringent hiring and training standards. Upon completion and training our employees are offered the opportunity of becoming part owners resulting in more responsible and conscientious crews. This translates into a more efficient and trouble free moving experience saving our customers unnecessary expense and grief.

Out of State Moves
College Grads offers the most unique pricing in the industry on our out-of-state moves. While most companies estimate your job based on the weight; the bulk of our charges are based on one-way mileage from your current home to your new home, resulting in extremely accurate quotes. We also offer a very exclusive service. Our policy is one customer per moving van. No mixed loads, no stopping to pick up or deliver other shipments, and no sub-contracting to other carriers. We take your goods in the same truck, with the same moving crew, directly to your new home. We will tell you what day and at what time you can expect your delivery.
Storage
College Grads offers quality storage of your household goods in our modern facilities. Our warehouses are clean and organized. Your goods are wrapped in your home; inventoried and secured in individual locked bins within our warehouse. Our facilities are heated to prevent extreme temperature changes, which could adversely affect your goods. There is (24) hour video monitoring of the grounds, and a (24) hour "Central Station Monitored Alarm System" for your security.
