Bridgeway Moving & Storage is a full service moving company. All furniture is professionally protected. We disassemble and reassemble furniture. Upon delivery all furniture will be arranged to your preference. We offer stair & elevator carry, packing and piano moving at no additional cost to the hourly rate.
There are 3 factors in the cost of a local move:
Hourly Rate : The hourly rate begins when the crew reaches your first location. This will cover the total hours taken to complete the move, and includes the time to load, travel to the final destination, and finally the unloading of your belongings. There is a 3-hour minimum for every job, after 3 hours the time is prorated to every 15 minutes.
Travel Time Fee : The Travel Time Fee is a one time flat fee that covers the cost of our crew getting to your first location and returning to our office. This fee also covers the expense for the truck, mileage and tolls.
Packing Supplies : Our trucks are equipped with 65 various box sizes, tape, bubble wrap, packing paper and shrink-wrap for an additional fee. All material is provided at a fair market price (see box price list), each truck is also equipped with 80 moving pads, 10 dollies, a piano board and logistic straps for the shipments security and protection
Insurance: Basic valuation coverage is included with your move at no additional cost to you. It is a regulated policy and is standard in the moving industry. This policy states that you are insured for the amount of 30 cents per pound per article. Full Replacement Insurance is also available and requires 72-hour notice, please contact us for further information regarding this policy.
Bridgeway Moving & Storage, Inc caries a comprehensive insurance policy that includes General Liability, Cargo and Workers Compensation coverage. If your place of residence requires being an additional insured on our policy, please notify us in advance so we can fax them an insurance certificate at no additional cost
Bridgeway Moving & Storage is a full service moving company. All furniture is professionally protected. We disassemble and reassemble furniture. Upon delivery all furniture will be arranged to your preference. Each move is planned and coordinated according to each individuals needs.
The rate for this move includes all labor of loading and unloading, all transportation costs, taxes, miles, tolls, wrapping all furniture with moving pads. There is no charge for stair carry up-to 3 floors. One month of storage is included free while you're in transit or have delivery restrictions.
There are 2 factors in the cost of a long distance move:
Actual Shipment weight : The weight is calculated by weighing the truck before and after the shipment has been picked-up. The difference between the weight tickets is the actual weight. Copies of weight receipts are provided. Distance of delivery and truck space availability determines the rate per pound. There is a 1400-pound minimum charge for all shipments.
