Yes, we are professional, meaning licensed and insured. We hire only experienced movers and packers. Our trucks are modern and company branded. Our moving equipment and supplies are new and clean. Our employees wear uniforms and speak English.
What is the best way to pay for moving services?
The best way to pay for service is to prepare money order for amount of 500$ for Moving Experts Inc. Rest of money we will return by check or credit card. We accept Cash please/Credit Cards/Money orders but you must make prior arrangements with your customer service representative. The customer must be present with this credit card for the transaction. We do not accept personal checks.
Cash payment is welcome and encouraged. You get 5% discount if you willing to pay cash. You have to call office to confirm amount.
What is the difference between a local and a long distance move?
If it’s more than 100 miles from your old residence to your new residence it is considered a long distance move.
How do you charge for local moves?
We charge an hourly rate depending on what size crew you require.
What is Double Drive Time?
Under California State law, the Public Utilities Commission regulations state that we must charge double driving time. Time to be doubled is the drive time from the pick up location to the delivery location. There are no exceptions to this regulation.
How far ahead should I reserve my move?
We accept last minute reservations however, for the end/beginning of the month; we recommend calling one week ahead of time. If you book with us, you can change the date with no cost.
Is tipping allowed?
Yes, tipping is permitted and at customer’s discretion.
Will you dis/re assemble furniture?
Yes, our movers are trained and are skilled at furniture dis/re-assembly.
Do you work weekends?
Yes, we’re ready to move you every day of the week
Can you move my piano? and what size crew for my piano?
Yes, For an upright piano with no steps you need two movers. If there are steps involved, 3 men minimum. For a baby grand you need 4 movers. For a grand piano you need 6 movers.
