Pre-Transport Checklist:
Household goods and personal items:
Transports are weight sensitive, the quote given was for the vehicle weight. Please remove any household items and personal content from vehicle. Carriers must stop at weigh stations and have trucks weighed. In the event the truck is overweight the carrier will have to be unloaded to find the problem, and will be ticketed. If your vehicle contributes to this problem because items were packed in your vehicle you may be charged for fees incurred. In addition, this will reduce any potential for theft.
Cracked Glass:
Make sure to fix any cracked, scratched, or chipped glass before transport. The carrier will not be responsible for damage caused by a pre-existing condition.
Campers, Racks, Luggage Racks:
Please remove any non-permanent items before transport. The carrier will not be responsible for any non-manufacturer accessories on the vehicle.
Fuel in tank:
Please have less than half a tank of gas in the vehicle. Again, transports are weight sensitive.
Antennas:
Antennas should be removed or lowered.
Alarms:
Alarms should be turned off. Please let the carrier know if there are special instructions for starting a vehicle or disarming an alarm. The carrier will not be responsible for drained batteries due to an alarm that has not been turned off.
