Proud Sponsor of the 2008 MS Bay to Bay Tour
Ace Relocation Systems has been a proud sponsor of the 2008 MS Bike Tour for
over ten years. Along with our sponsorship Ace gave away a 2009 specialized
bike and jersey. Read more to find out about the winner and how to donate to
the MS Society.
This year’s winner of the bike and jersey was Franklyn Gottbetter and
here is his amazing story.
After Franklyn Gottbetter’s mother passed away from complications due
to multiple sclerosis in 2003, he was determined to do something to forward
the MS cause. Thus, Team SCRUBS -- comprised of the Emmy-nominated television
show’s cast and crew -- was born. For the past five years, Gottbetter
and the Scrubs team have participated in Bike MS Bay to Bay Tour raising hundreds
of thousands of dollars to support the National MS Society’s mission
to create a world free of MS. Gottbetter’s own fundraising has earned
him a coveted position in the 150 Club, the Tour’s top 150 fundraisers.
Last year alone, he raised over $58,000, making him the Tour’s #2 fundraiser!
Gottbetter is also on the Board of Trustees for the National MS Society’s
Pacific South Coast Chapter. To donate to Franklyn and his efforts please visit
