| | Be aware! Do not use A Van Lines. They break, steal, and are extremely unprofessional. Most of their workers are no doubt illegal aliens and speak no English on top of it! They never return phone calls and treat you like you are the least important person in the world. DO NOT use them unless you want the worst experience in your life! | Company Response | | | Posted by: Radhika - 03/14/2009 Subject: worst moving experience

| | They were highly unprofessional, rude and incompetent. Several pieces of furniture came damaged. They arrived at the destination almost a week late and did not bother giving us status updates. I would NOT recommend this company at all. | Company Response | | | Posted by: Romana Van Houtven - 02/06/2009 Subject: Broken funiture

| | This company told me they would store my belongings in temperature controlled crates, where my furniture and belongings would stay clean. Instead I received my belongings with black dust all over and mice droppings. My new furniture was ruined and they broke my dinning room chairs and scratched all my new wood furniture. They demanded their balance and that the insurance would cover the damages, but they avoided answering my claims and I was never repaid for broken furniture or scratched furniture. I can't even resell it. My furniture is now worthless because of the damages they did to it. | Company Response | | | Posted by: John Stephenson - 08/23/2008 Subject: A Van Lines, alias AAA Van Lines, Criminal gang
| | Quote ID : | A249842 | | Move Origin : | Atlanta, GA | | Move Destination : | Boone, NC | | Initial Estimate : | $850.00 | | Final Cost : | $3,500.00 |
| | This is a criminal gang, with many aliases and locations. Owners are Nik/Nicolas
Paz and wife Rebecca. After a 'complete' quote of $850 and a 'backup' bank card
authorization from me, they picked up and the extortion began. Yesterday they
got $450 cash from me, and then used the authorization to steal $2000 out of
my account, and now lie and say they didn't, as if my bank would lie! They threatened
not to deliver at all if I complain. James Whittle is another criminal at this
company, a liar through and through. They are now holding my belongings hostage,
as of 8-22-08. Today out of the blue a call announces they may be coming to deliver,
and expect another 1000. I have filed a criminal complaint and claims with all
pertinent agencies. Among aliases, this gang operated AAA van lines out of Norcross,
and others. | Company Response | | | Posted by: Jack Mauro - 05/08/2008 Subject: Last Year's Nightmare
| | Briefly - AAA Van Lines was awful. I was quoted - twice - a pick-up time and
date, only to be told by the dispatcher on the allotted day that he didn't know
what I was talking about. I had to change travel plans as the pick-up was eight
hours later than even the dispatcher had set. Worse was the drop-off. I had twice
confirmed this date with the salesman. He assured me it would be fine. On that
day I was called; no delivery was possible. I remained polite in the face of
rudeness but they wouldn't budge. Meanwhile, my entire fee had already been charged
to my card. I slept on the floor that night. The next day, it took many calls
for these movers to figure out where I lived in midtown Atlanta. ??? Then, as
workmen brought my things in, the leader said I had to pay $80.00 for the 'extra
long hallway'. Fine - I told him to add it to the card charges. No, he needed
cash. I did not have this cash. He refused to listen, shouted me down, even as
I said that this made no sense since my credit cards were fine for all the other
expenses. I called the offices and was literally yelled at by the owner. End
of story: as I didn't have the cash, they took off with my sofa and at least
one antique table. This company is an outrage.

| | They quoted me $3000 to move a three bedroom house from Austin, TX to Alameda, CA in November 2007. After loading my stuff, it turned out to be $7200! When I complained, they discounted the packing and materials, but the quote was still $5999 - double what was initially quoted. I left multiple messages, but to this day nobody has returned my calls. To make things even worse, they lost a queen size mattress and box-spring among other things. | Company Response | | | Posted by: William Fisher - 08/08/2007 Subject: don't use
| | Worst moving experience of my life and that is saying a lot. Rude, abrasive,
completely contemptuous of customers. Delivered a partial load and nearly two
months later we are still waiting for the remainder of our goods. Impossible
customer service, owner is avoidant and abusive. Save yourself some trouble and
move yourself.

| | AAA Van Lines really are professionals who know what their doing, this company is very organized. I liked the fact that AAA Van Lines is so honest, they were going to move us the week of the 15th of June but unfortunately had to move our date up two days and instead of not showing up they called us the minute they knew and informed us and they even said if we didn’t want to use them they would give us our deposit back right away. I was so amazed that I decided to use them anyway even though it would put us behind a day or two. Once the day came for them to move they were on time and moved quick and efficiently. I highly recommend AAA Van Lines to everyone; even my family have used them to move.
Thank you,

| | AAA Van Lines had a great crew which made our move easier and smoother. Everything went exactly as planned and better. Nothing was damaged and the overall service from the crew and the company was top notch. I have moved three times in the last 5 years and never have I encountered a company like this one. They wrapped all my fragile furniture in blankets and were extra careful with the furniture that was not wrapped. The trucks were so incredibly clean I couldn’t believe it, they were cleaner than my car. Once everything was loaded and taken to my new location everything arrived in the same condition it left. This service was amazing and the crew was very polite and hard workers. Thank you to AAA Van Lines for doing an awesome job.
