Anytime Inc.
Anytime, Inc. is a family owned and operated auto transport service since 1989.
How did we get into the auto transport business?
After years of working for auto transporters, we found that companies seemed more interested in profits than consumers. Although every business is entitled to make a profit,it should never be at the consumer's expense. Here at Anytime, Inc. all of us truly believe that the most important part of any service, is just that, SERVICE!!!
Throughout our 18 years in the auto transport business we have seen many, many changes to our industry. Some good, some not so good.
Here is a list of certain things every single consumer should look out for.
- Never allow your vehicle to be stored at a terminal. A terminal is a yard where your car is stored until the company you hire can find a truck to ship it. This can very often lead to delays which in turn could cost you additional rental car fees. Also, terminals normally do not have any security so there is a chance of vandalism , and you theowner are responsible. No trucking company can insure a car unless it is on a truck!
- Beware of a "door to door" service. This most likely means your car will be picked up at your "door" by a tow truck but brought to a terminal anyway. Days later it will be shipped from terminal to terminal. Then finally your car will be delivered to your "door". Ask the company "how many trucks will my car be on". If more than one, you know terminals will be involved!
- Be certain that you are not subject to any cancellation fees, whatsoever. Companies with cancellation fees have very little incentive to ship your car because they have already"made their money".
- Always choose a company that is licensed and bonded with the federal government. A bond is a trust account set aside with the federal government to pay a claim, just in case. If a company is not bonded, you the consumer will be liable for any damage to your car, no matter what a company tells you.
- Make sure the insurance coverage is for full replacement value and the company has a "primary" policy. If the company has a "secondary" policy than you must use your own auto insurance to settle the claim which could result in a rate increase to you.
Find a company that uses two truck drivers. If only one truck driver he or she will have to leave the truck unattended at a truck stop many times during the transport to eat, sleep etc. Trucks should always have two drivers to avoid any security issues especially if you are putting personal items it the vehicle .
So what exactly does Anytime, Inc. do, and how do you do it?
We would be glad to tell you!
We ship cars domestically on "Car Carrier" trucks only. We do not ship by tow truck or flatbed, only carriers. All overseas shipments are by steel container service. These carriers use two truck drivers to make the transport safer and faster. We even allow you to put personal items in the trunk area simply because the truck is should not be left unattendedday or night. Since we never use terminals and never change carriers, your car is actually picked up from your address by the same carrier that delivers to your address.Although we sometimes can pick up a car immediately, we would like as much notice as possible to insure proper availability.
Once your car is picked up it is fully insured for a maximum of $100,000.00 or the retail blue value, whichever is less. In the case of classic, or antique vehicles, the insurance covers up to the "fair market" value. This is a primary not secondary policy!
Anytime, Inc. is licensed and bonded with the U.S. federal government.
The only things you'll need are pickup and delivery addresses, a fax number, (we do not e-mail contracts for security reasons), and pickup dates, that's it. Moments later we will fax the contract to you and we ask you to please sign it and mail it to our corporate headquarters in Las Vegas, NV. with a personal check, bank check or credit card check for the required deposit.(Deposit amount is determined by the total cost of transport). We are very sorry but we no longer accept credit cards.
As for the balance of the transport cost, that is paid to our truck drivers upon delivery, in cash only after you verify the vehicles condition and mileage.
Please don't forget to give us as much notice as possible to insure proper availability.
Oh, you would like to know what other consumers say about us.No problem!!!
